When i set-up my bot to tweet by talking, will the bot send a keyword based answer from RSS Feed? Like answer from bots Memory.

The guest user/password I included was an example, a generic BOT libre guest user.

Ok, I see the issue.

The issue is that you have configured your bot's access mode to 'Users', so anonymous users will not be able to connect to your bot from the iframe (only connected users). You can either set your access mode to 'Everyone', or create a guest user to connect as from your iframe.

Make sure you put the correct id for your bot in the chat parameter, i.e. your bot's id is 12551.

The retweet keywords are now case insensitive, and you can specify multiple sets of keywords. Put each keyword set on a new line.

i.e.

The Twitter bot properties now allow a RSS prefix and postfix. Also you can set the RSS Keywords to filter only RSS title that include the keywords.

A template response is one that contains code in addition to text. The code is defined in the Bot Libre Self scripting language.

You can add a template response from the "Training & Chat Logs" page. You can even use a template response in a correction or learning response.

i try to delte the complete bot and create a new one. now it seems more less clear. in the chat log i have found the old conversions and responses. this will not delete too?

No, you cannot correct part of the string in the memory.

It looks like most of your responses also have the correct character, so you should be ok just to delete them from the Memory page. If you don't have the responses to some of them, then you could filter response on the character from the Chat Logs page, export it as a chat log, or response list, then find/replace the character in a text editor, and then re-import it.

in the memory is still the � listed. i can not delete them, but i spend a lot of time to train. the caracter � means more then one letter. somtimes is ü sometimes is ö. is it possible to correct it manually in the memory?

The issue should be fixed now. The upload was using UTF-8, but the download was not.

i try it again. when i download the chat_log the file have charset ANSI Windows/DOS in Notepad++. I have to convert to UTF-8 before i upload this file.

The import/export should both be in UTF-8. I will look into it.

To delete all the sentences with � you can copy the character, go to the Memory tab, search for "*�*", click 'Select All', then click 'Delete'. I can delete them for you if you wish.

first step i download the chat_log then i changed some answers and upload it but then the percent raise up. All umlauts (German äüö) are failed to �

When you filter your RSS feed by keyword, it would be nice when you can set a Hashtag. All correspondece that will be filtered have a special Hashtag. So listener from my twitter profile have specified posts. In the Twitter guidelines for spam is described that automatted posts must be have a context.

By default, a new bot will not learn from other users, unless you use the ai_template to create the bot. When learning is enabled, a bot will remembered user responses to the bot's responses, and the bot will use the user responses in future conversations. This is useful to let your bot learn new things, but undesirable if you want your bot to only respond how you have trained it.

From the Learning page in your bot's Admin Console, you can configure who your bot learns from. You can disable learning, or configure your bot to only learn from its administrators, or only from signed in users. You can also configure who is allowed to correct your bot's responses, and you can configure the bot's learning rate, and other options.

You can configure your Twitterbot to retweet posts from your bot's Twitter page in its Admin Console.

A Twitterbot can retweet posts from its friends, or from a tweet search.

AIML is the Artificial Intelligence Markup Language. It is an XML standard for defining chat bot responses. Bot Libre bots are not based on AIML, but instead have a knowledgebase similar to the human brain. However both importing and exporting AIML is fully supported.

You can import AIML in two forms, either as a script file, or as a chat log.

I think it is not an issue with addthis, but a database issue. Some of the Twitterbots have a thousand friends and when they run can bough down the database. I think I have fixed the issue, just need to update the website.

Thanks for the input. I was planning on the prefix, I suppose I could add tne suffix as well. For URL shortening, I thought Twitter did that automatically now. I will have to investigate it.

sometimes the admin page is very slow. i think you can speed-up the social buttons from addthis when you load this asyncron.

i use an other service for RSS to tweet. here are some functions:

- check for new posts every: 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours

But I can't ask it other questions such as "Who wrote the book ...." or "How many pints are in a liter." The RSS limit should be 150, so it is odd you are seeing it cut out at 12. I just tested 15, and it seemed to work.

The Self programming scripts can call out to functions exposed on the bots Senses, and Tools. I would like to add an RSS feed Sense, so that it can pull in any RSS feed URL. So you would just need to expose the database data as an RSS feed. Other formats could be supported, or perhaps some sort of generic REST API Sense.

Are there limits on the number of RSS feeds the bot can cope with, every time one tries adding more it cuts back to about a dozen or so.

This would be useful as it allows a Bot to be taught what it is you follow and are interested in and have it learn and tweet to you, or followers who are also interested in same thing.

Yes, I have been meaning to document this.

The retweet option lets you retweet any of your friends tweets that contain the key words. Currently it only supports one set of keywords. I will look into supporting multiple sets of keywords.

The issue was that there was a live chat room still pointing to your bot, so it could not be deleted until its reference from the chat room was removed. I have deleted your bot, and fixed the issue to automatically remove bot references on delete.

Thank you for reporting the Twitter feed issue, I have fixed it, and should update the website sometime this week. For now you can just put a single invalid feed in your RSS so it will not post anything.
